I have spent some months reading your posts & not answering any, but I DO want to answer this. Neo Madman gave you an excelent reason for not believing WT allegations, but you dodge the question, is that the way you reason?, that is faulty reasoning.

I don't think I dodged the question. I posed the question, "Were you that stupid all those years you were in the truth?" It is a reasonable question I think. And, apparently the answer for some of you is yes. So, my next question is, if you were that stupid then, what makes you trust your own judgment on matters now? From my standpoint, then, those who have left the truth are the ones with the credibility problem, not those who remain.

That kind of answers are only satisfactory in YOUR mind, you HAVE TO PROVE that there is connection between the WT & God... THEN we believe you.

Again, I would bring the issue back to those who were in the truth for many years. Were you so completely blinded? Did you never have any personal connection to Jehovah God the whole time you were one of Jehovah's Witnesses? Many of you spent years preaching and convincing others that we had the truth. Yet, now you say there is no evidence? That is preposterous. I don't think any of you are being honest with yourselves. I can defend my faith on any topic of your choosing using the Bible and the Bible only. Why can't you do that?

Besides, when you were in the truth did you never experince the flow of God's holy spirit? If not, that would explain your disbelief? Let's face it, not all of Jehovah's Witnesses have a personal relationship with Jehovah, but many do. Those who do are in the truth. And the Watchtower has served as an instrumentality by introducing us to God and Christ. That's all the Watchtower is really supposed to do. Everything else is just chaff as far as I am concerned. The Watchtower has provided the doctrinal basis for that relationship, that have clearly set the vital issues before us, but it is up to each individual to "prove to themselves the good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." No one can do that for you, you must do it for yourself as an act of will.

You say "It is more reasonable to believe that you are faithless", I DO have faith in God...please be reasonable & give Neo Madman a satisfactory answer, not for your mind, but for all the minds that are reading your posts. If this language was my native one, I could have a better argument with you...

I think you have allowed yourself to be stumbled by the failings of the Watchtower. That's a shame. My heart goes out to you. And I think the brothers at Bethel have a lot to answer to God about. But, I have tried my best to try and snatch those who can be saved out of the fires of doubt. But, let's face it: Most of those who have left couldn't care any less about Jehovah or the future that he has promised. Many of you are immoral and love living for the moment in the Devil's world. For those like yourself who seem to want answers but who just can't seem to sort it out, I think your best shot at getting these issues sorted out will be during the tribulation. As long as you don't go completely berserk before then I think it is possible that some of you might be able to come to your senses when Jehovah rocks the heavens and the earth in preparation for gather his "desirable thigs." / You Know

Instead, Doug Noland brings his expert analysis to bear upon the issues having to do with the distortions within the global financial system as a result of credit excess---hence the name "Credit BUBBLE Bulletin.". As the title of this weeks article indicates, there is a growing SYSTEMIC crisis. Systemic is the opposite of cyclic. A systemic crisis means that the entire financial system is in danger of collapse because of the intergration that makes up a system. Now this is just plain incorrect. As you can see from below, the total currency as of 7/31/00 was $540 Billion dollars. At your 20-50 Billion a week (They cant even print that much dumbass!) You dont know what you are talking about. There are various descriptions of money. You are referring to what is called M1, which is merely cash and checking deposits.

So when you bought your shack for $50,000 the bank by law had to have $5,000 on hand in reserve. So the Banks loaned you $50,000 (thats $45,000 they didnt have) and thus created $45,000 (on paper anyways). This is called EXPANSION of the money supply not INFLATION. ONCE AGAIN inflation means that the value of the money goes down, not that the supply of money is increasing.

The two terms are interchangeable because the expansion of the money supply ALWAYS leads to inflation eventually, unless the money supply is contracted, which occasionally happens, but it is not easy when there is a hyper-expansion as has been the case in recent years.

That is simply not true. Jesus is the head of the congregation and in Revelation he issues his judgment against the 7 symbolic congregations that exist during the so-called lord's Day. For example, to the Ephesian congregation Jesus said that they had left the love that they had at first and if they didn't repent that he would remove their lampstand from its place. To the Pergamum congregation Jesus said that they were tolerating the pestiferious sect of apostates known as the sect of Nicolaus, not unlike the cult of Ray franz today, which Christ said he personally hated. Jesus warned the congregation that if they didn't repent he would war with them with the long sword of his mouth. To the Laodicea congregation of self-satisfied ones Jesus threatens to spew the lukewarm ones out of his mouth, as it were. So, Jehovah and Jesus definitely do speak of dealing adversely with unfaithful ones among the organized congregations of worshippers in the Christian era. / You Know

allow me to share some things about this man that may help to shed some light on his mindset as a jw.. one of the most important things i have found when dealing with "loyal" jw on the net is to find out thier status with in the org, esp if they are male- .

you see this organization is a "position" driven organization, esp for males and if they have no position within thier local congo - other than mike handler after being a jw for years then that means in most cases the male jw is considered a flunky- we have seen guys as young as 17 being appointed as ms-.

You don't get it blockhead. I would persuade those who are still Jehovah's Witnesses to reamin loyal to Jehovah for the reasons I frequently cite regarding how Jehovah proposes to bring himself into judgment with his own.

This is because he lacks the emotional health and character of standing up for himself against what he knows are obvious wrongs.

Just to set you straight, assuming that that is even humanly possible, and to give others a bit of my background to help them "understand You Know," as you say:

I have served as an elder in numerous congregations spanning more than a decade. By the way, Paul at one time mentioned to the Corinthians that it wasn't good to boast, but the slander of the superfine apostles forced him to reiterate his credentials as an apostle. In my case, from the first time I got on the platform the brothers always told me that I had a gift. The city overseer of a large city once told me that he and some other elders thought that I was the best speaker in the whole city, which I thought was quite an honor at the time. I was used in assemblies and gave wedding talks and funerals, and every year I was asked to either give the Memorial talk or the Special talk. Frequently I was asked at the last moment to fill in if some brother didn't show up, which I was also happy to do. At times I was invited by other congregations to give some sort of pep talk because the brothers really enjoyed my talks. At one point when my wife and I were pioneering I was recommended as a substitue CO but because my energy gave out on me I stopped pioneering and I ended up moving out of state.

At any rate, I was never removed as an elder or anything like that. But, as it turned out, when we moved out of state on another occasion I came into a new congregation highly recommended by the brothers from the previous congregations, but at the same time I began partaking, which caused a bit of a stir and deeply disturbed a couple of elders. I really love Jehovah's sense of humor, because the brothers never could have removed me for simply partaking, yet it was easier for them to just not re-appoint me. Anyway, an elder in the congregation told me later that there were some problems and contentions in the body of elders before I even got there, that some wanted the first palce, not unlike the superfine apostles of Corinth. Later several other elders moved out because of the rancorous atmosphere among the elders. Subsequently, far from being thought of as a flake, I was viewed with suspicion and as a potential rival because of my qualifications. So, I was just never reappointed. And after a couple of years we moved on, and of course from that point I came into a new congregation with no recommendation. However, I still enjoy the respect and esteem of most brothers and I remained at peace with even those brothers who abused their power.

But, from my standpoint I have no regrets. I serve Jehovah now in ways that I never could before. Paul said to the Corinthians who apparently sucummbed to the slanders directed against Paul: "You should have recommended me." I can say the same thing. Like the superfine apostles were a thorn in Paul's side that Jehovah allowed in order to prevent him from being overly exalted, I view my present situation of being denied from using my speaking gifts in behalf of the congregation, because my calling isn't met with approval my some brothers, as a real privilege. For me it's an opportunity to conduct myself as a lesser one and prove my loyalty to Jehovah under a test that others have failed. So that's my little story. / You Know

The answer to that question is simple: Jehovah's Witnesses do not have the power to carry out such a judgment. We try to keep our congregations clean, we disfellowship immoral individuals by the thousands, yet there are still many thousands of immoral and faithless individuals who remain. Jesus on the other hand is in a position to effectively and permanently effect a complete cleasing of Jehovah's spiritual organization, and that is exactly what Jesus long ago foretold that he would do. In the 13th chapter of Matthew Jesus, in company with his angels, "will collect out of his kingdom all things causing stumbling and all persons doing lawlessness." That final decisive purge can accomplish what men never can, as painful and tramatic as it may be to endure when it occurs it will nonetheless pave the way for Jehovah's remaining loyal ones to be granted entry into the New World of Jehovah's promise. / You Know
